We are a child and family psychotherapy service in Leeds that offer one to one therapy, group work and parent sessions to those struggling with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Specifically, we run a project called Parent Space which helps mothers to better understand and attune to their children, whilst addressing their own mental health in the process.
We work mostly in schools, children’s centres and with Third Sector partners such as Women’s Health Matters.We cover the full age range from 0-25 (for children and young people) and parents.We are both commissioned by LA and grant funded. Services OfferedOne to one therapy including art psychotherapy, child and adolescent psychotherapy, play therapy, counselling Dyadic (parent-child)therapy Parent sessions to promote good attachment Group work Consultation to staff Training on areas of mental health that are particular to that organisation e.g. self harm in schools Access RestrictionsThrough LA we are only funded to work in specific areas – currently these are Lantern Learning Trust (5 primary schools), AIP (Area Inclusion Partnership schools in south Leeds), JESS Cluster schools and children’s centres. Our sister company, Impact Minds, offers therapeutic support on a fee basis. All of our work can be done face to face or virtually. |
