Support for anyone living with or affected by HIV, living in Leeds. Emotional support, advice and signposting on housing and benefits, treatment adherence, mental health, understanding HIV.
Support groups – Health and Wellbeing Group (open to anyone living with HIV), HIV positive women’s group (Valour). Together for Life (group for positive or affected 12-18 year olds).
Peer Mentors – Individuals who are living with HIV who offer their time and experience to support others through any aspect of their diagnosis.
Volunteer service – anyone can access our 3-day training programme to volunteer at Skyline in a range of activities.
We have an HIV-specialist CBT therapist who provides free sessions to clients.
Aromatherapy massage and reflexology, 5 free sessions per client available.
HIV Prevention Service – working with African communities to reduce HIV infection and educate on transmission to eradicate stigma.
Training packages available to communities, colleges, and any other professionals who want to know more about HIV and how it affects people. Tailored to need and custom made.
Rapid HIV testing – in the office, 9.30-4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
At various community venues across Leeds and can be provided at events or training sessions on request.
Support services, plus therapies and CBT are for Leeds residents only. Groups can be accessed by anyone, even out of area, but we will not reimburse travel expenses for people outside of Leeds.
Our building is fully accessible.
