Leeds Peer Support Network is looking for new steering group members
Women’s Lives Leeds are proud to be on the steering group for the Leeds Peer Support Network, which continues to grow during these unprecedented times. It has played an important role in giving space for practitioners the space to share their ups and downs;
‘[It’s helpful] being reassured that others are facing the same problems/issues delivering Peer Support during the Covid-19 pandemic’ – Attendee feedback August 2020 meeting
LPSN now has a wider social media and web presence and offers free webinars and members meetings every other month. The network’s first lunchtime webinar focused on self-care and had overwhelmingly positive feedback;
‘The topic was just what I needed at this time in my life and has reminded me of all the reasons I love peer support’ – Attendee feedback October 2020
To reflect the network’s objectives and become more representative, LPSN is looking for underrepresented peer support practitioners to become core steering group members.
