VACANCY – Independent Chair
12 days per year, including four partnership meetings per year
£350 a day plus reasonable travel expenses (£4200 pa)
Women’s Lives Leeds (WLL) is a partnership of eleven women and girls organisations from across Leeds, with specialisms in domestic violence, mental health, sexual health, sex work, trafficking, substance misuse, child sexual exploitation and education.
The partnership is seeking to commission a female Independent Chair to help facilitate Women’s Lives Leeds work empowering girls and women in Leeds by providing independent, constructive challenge and strategic vision. The eleven WLL partners lead organisations working with some of the most vulnerable women and girls in the city as part of a four-year Big Lottery funded partnership, which it is now in its third year. We are looking for an Independent Chair who can inspire and support their work to effect lasting change.
This contract will be commissioned by Leeds Women’s Aid and the Independent Chair will work closely with all WLL partners.
