SARSVL (Support After Rape and Sexual Violence Leeds)
SARSVL are the rape crisis service for Leeds. They are a trans-inclusive feminist organisation that supports all women and girls in Leeds who need them and have been affected by sexual violence of any kind at any time in their lives (nearly half the women they speak to are adult survivors of Child Sexual Abuse (CSA)). They promote the needs and rights of survivors and work towards the elimination of sexual violence.
Whatever happened to you, whenever it happened, wherever it happened, SARSVL are here to support you.
They provide a safe space for women and girls to talk about how rape or sexual violence has affected them and can help you to explore your options. They provide a helpline, advocacy and counselling service.

Their Advocacy service works with women aged 16 and over who have been affected by rape or sexual violence at any time in their lives, to help them to regain control of their lives, make informed choices about issues affecting them, and access the support that they may need. They also offer a specialist Counselling service to support women aged 18 and over who have experienced sexual violence of any kind and any point in their lives. All their Counsellors are trained and experienced in working with trauma as a consequence of sexual violence. They offer one-to-one and group counselling in a woman only space.
